Our unique Emerging Cosplayer Guest program aims to provide up-and-comers with a golden opportunity to not only showcase your cosplay prowess but also gain experience in cosplay guesting. And you will have the privilege of being mentored by seasoned cosplay veterans who will guide you on the nuances of being an engaging and influential cosplay guest. Main responsibilities include:
- Judging contests.
- Hosting contests.
- Co-presenting the Newbies Welcome Experience
- Cosplay feedback at your booth.

Applications due March 31st. (decisions by April 15)
Our Emerging Guest Cosplayers receive the following:
- Shared booth space (2 per 8′ table) in a guest alcove.
- Guest poster sign (you can keep it, too).
- Mentoring from advanced guest cosplayers, which ranges from how to set-up your booth and what to sell to hosting and judging contests.
- 1 free weekend pass for your handler.
- 1 lunch ticket each day.
- 1 dessert ticket, you’re sweet for being part of the show, so we’re sweet with you!
- Pre-event marketing that includes providing you with the following to promote your participation (1) a Con Map Profile located on the event website that allows you to add photos, videos, social media and more, (2) social media template graphic and reel for you to personalize- please tag us on Instagram and Facebook, (3) inclusion of your cosplay image in our event marketing.
In addition, parking at the venue is free. And The Star Cos will lead the training all of the guest cosplayers on roles and responsibilities. Emerging guest cosplayers have group online Zoom meetings to prepare.
This is the fourth class of Emerging Guest Cosplayers, and we’ll be accepting 12 total. And we’re excited about welcoming a new group!
