The TikTok Film Festival is an exhilarating event where contestants compete to see who can create the best anime-themed short films. This festival celebrates creativity and innovation, inviting creators to showcase their storytelling skills within TikTok’s brief, engaging format. Participants from diverse backgrounds bring their unique perspectives to life, crafting compelling narratives that captivate audiences and judges alike.
If accepted to participate, you will receive a link that will allow you to create a bio to the event website that includes adding photos and videos as well as sharing your background as part of our marketing of the contest.

August 15. $200 plus trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
rules & guidelines
- TikToks must be relevant to anime, manga, or other Asian influenced fan cultures including music and video games.
- TikToks must be family friendly. Vulgar language, NSFW content, and violence are not permitted.
- TikToks must be 30 seconds or less.
- TikToks must be submitted in .mp4 or .mov format.
- Limit of one TikTok submission per convention attendee.
- TikToks will be pre-judged prior to the convention.
- Winners will be announced immediately after the TikTok Film Festival.
- All TikTok submissions are eligible to win prizes, however if more than 50 TikTok submissions are submitted, only 50 will be featured in the Festival.
- All submissions must be received by August 15.
- Suggested submission genres are cosplay, skit, dance, and/or anime edit, but feel free to get creative!
