Anime St. Pete 2024 is brimming with exciting contests and main events designed to celebrate and showcase the incredible talents of the community. The 3rd annual event is September 28-29 at the St. Petersburg Coliseum.

Contests that involve pre-registration: Applications are open until August 15. If accepted to participate, you will receive a link to create a bio on the event website. This bio will allow you to add photos and videos, and share your background, becoming a part of our contest marketing.

Unveil your masterful creations at the Craftsmanship Cosplay Contest! Cosplayers can showcase their meticulously crafted costumes, competing for cash prizes and trophies. Esteemed guest cosplayers will judge the intricate details and dedication of each entry. This contest is a unique opportunity to impress and gain recognition from some of the most talented figures in the cosplay community. Awards include cash prizes of $500, and trophies.

No pre-registration is required—simply register at the convention front desk on Sunday up to 2 hours before the contest. Trophies will be awarded for first, second, and third places.

Makeup artists and SFX enthusiasts are invited to showcase their transformative skills in our unique Makeup/SFX Competition, one of the few standalone competitions in the nation. Judged exclusively from the neck up, this competition offers a unique opportunity for artists to demonstrate their mastery in creating captivating makeup looks. Awards include cash prizes of $200 and trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
